What’s next?

Well, a couple weeks ago I finished my Top 100 Albums project. Thank you to everyone who read and encouraged me along the way.

So what’s next? I’ve got a follow up to my Top 100 with some random stats and updates and such but I think I’ll save that until Christmas Lists. So for now I’m going to return to weekly “Weekend Recommend” posts and perhaps a monthly playlist. I’m also scheming a podcast but my computer died and I can’t afford to replace it at this time so maybe after Christmas for that. I want it to focus on niche community builders. I also want to keep writing reviews. Let me know if you have any requests.

Meanwhile I’ve burnt out on video games after almost two years of Soulsborne obsession and am trying to lose the resulting weight gain from all those couch hours. Not going straight to my controller has led me to go to my board game shelf and vinyl collection more which has been very satisfying. I’m still rather frustrated that Apple Music doesn’t have a “shuffle album” option and that my auto generated “recently added” playlist adds complete albums in reverse track order. This has somewhat deterred me from listening deeply at work or on the go while my computer is dead. Currently listening to some albums I’ve cued up in my good headphones and that is feeling really gratifying.

I’m also thinking about perhaps blogging more personal/experiential content rather than just media commentary.
